Melbourne, This Day At the adjourned examination into the affairs of the Federal Bank, John Robb, contractor, who had been a Director of the Bank from the start, was examined at great length. He admitted having paid large amounts to the credit of his account shortly before balancing day, and withdrawing them soon after. Subsequent admissions drew a reproof from the Judge .Who said he regarded it as a case of the Director deceiving the creditors and shareholders. _■— — —
