TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir,—l wish to correct an error that appeared in your issue of the 23rd, you state that '* The Castlecliff Bailway Company will take the children (free of charge) down to tbe Heads from the Wanganui station, returning later in the day." The Castlecllifl Railway Company make the small charge of 4d per head, not, as you state, " free of charge," thus making the whole charge from Makino to the Wanganui Heads, and back, one shilling and fourpence for the school children, and two shillings and sixpence per head for teachers and parents in charge of the children. This liberal concession by the Railway Department, and the Castlecliff Railway Company, should be largely taken advantage of by School Committees in this district. I am, etc., James H.
