(per press association) Mklbournk, February 26. Betting is dull. At Flemington this morning, The Harvester with quite 9st up, covered a mile and three-quarters nicely in 3min leasees. At Caulfield, Bessie McCarthy, Sternchaser, Bonnie Scotland, Freda, Tireuse and Barbarian performed creditably, whilst Wkakawatea, in superior condition, took matters more sedately. Common is scratched for the Newmarket Handicap, and The Possible for all engagements.
