♦- (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.. Perth, February 26. The Coolgardie representative of Lord Dudley's syndicate visited the recent discovery alleged to be a mountain of gold at Mt. Catherine, but found it did not come up to representations, and he couud not recommend its purchase. Tho prospectors charged with murdering the natives were dischaged. The. only evidence was that of the informer Robertson, who had a dispute over the ownership of the claim, and no corroboration of his statement was forthcoming.
