Feilding Cycling Club,
A meetmg of the Feilding Cycling Club was held in the Club room last evening, the attendance being fair. Mr Ricketts presided. The balance-sheet for the recent sports meeting was read, showing the total receipts had been £63 165, nominations and acceptances £11 9s and cash donations £10 lis. After paying away £25 5s in prize money and paying various other expenses a credit balance of £15 was shown, which amount it was decided to lodge in the Savings Bank, and that Messrs Fowles, Feck, and Mackenzie be the trustees. " Accounts amounting to .£23 were passed for payment. Resolved, That the balance-sheet as read be adopted. Resolved, That a cordial vote of thanks be passed to those who assisted financially and otherwise at the recent sports. Resolved, That a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to the Manawatu Cycling Club for the valuable assistance rendered to this Club in making the recent sports a success. Mr G. W. Fowles presented two silver medals to the Club to be disposed of as . they think fit. Resolved, That Mr Fowles be accorded a vote of thanks for his gift. Resolved, That a three-mile race be held on the Oval on Wednesday the 13th March, at 4 p.m., nominations to close on the 6th March. The meeting then adjourned.
