Amateur Championship Meeting.

o (Per Press Association). iNavikh, Februare 25. The remaining events of the Athletic Championship meeting were run off this afternoon. These were the one and 25---mile bicycle championships. The final heat in the one-miie race resulted — Pither (Canterbury), 1 ; Jones (Canter bury), 2; Hay ward (Canterbury), 3 ; Reynolds, of Auckland, close up. Time, 2mins. 26 3-sth sees. In the 25-mile handicap eight started. Result — Pither, 1 ; Jones, 2 ; Haj'ward, 3. Won by a wheel, with Hayward a good third. Time, 67min. 23 2-ssec. Reynolds, the Auckland champion, had to retire early in the race through an accident to his machine. Cowell, of Napier, receives the Alliance gold medal for the hour record, during which time he rode 22£ miles and 180 yards.
