Bey. Mr Clarke— A Cruel Parson
■ — -+T-- . (Per Press Association.) Sydney, February 22. In the divorce case brought by the wife against the Rev. Mr Clarke a decree nisi was granted. The judge said : "It has been my lot to try many casos of cruelty to women, but I have never had a case in which cruelty was moro unjustifiable or horrible than in the present. Language fails to express my sense of the barbarity of the respondent." This Day, At the conclusion ofthe cjivoroocas© the Rev. _$r Clarke was arrested on a oharge of insanity, aud remanded for medioal examination.
