A New Way of Spending the Lunch Hour.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Feb. 18. Chas. Gordon Faithfull, a lad of 16 years, and Eong Wort Sam, a Chinese shopkeeper, were committed for trial to-day for theft of goods from E. F. Hawke to the value of £6$ 15s. Hawke is agent for the Phoenix Company of Dunedin, and the evidence was that Faithfull, who was employed by him, sent away goods, chiefly confectionary, to the Chinaman during his employer's lunch hour. There is another charge to, be heard against the boy and the Chinaman Joe Way.
