_ o (Per Press Association). London, February 16. Kauri gum is in good demand. Of 3000 cases offered, 2600 were sold »t a general adyance of from 2s to 6s. Threequarter scraped brought 79s 6d, and half- i scraped 525. The quantity in stock is 2800 cases. The Kaikoura's butter averages 98s ; cheese, 66a. Australian wheat is scarce and 27s has been paid for a Victorian consignment landed. At the London wool sales 1200 bales have been sold since the stb, some of it at £d per 1b rise.
