Fatal Boat Accident.

(Per Press Association). Thames, February 12. Dennis Connelly, 24 years of age, was drowned while crossing from the Piako river with James Findlay, telegraph lineman. The boat capsized and they drifted about at the mercy of the wind and waves for 16 hours. Connelly dropped off and was drowned just as a relief party was approachiug. Findlay displayed great bravery, and repeatedly risked his own life in endeavoring to save Connelly.
