A Tornado Near Sydney.
A WOMAN DROWNED IN THE HO AD WAY. (Per Press Association). Sydney, February 8. ' A tornado has been experienced at Peak Hill, 272 miles west of Sydney and was accompanied by a tremendous downpour of rain. Many houses had their roofs torn off, and great damage was done to property and stores, besides some of the mines being flooded. After the storm had passed away an old woman named O'Knen was found drowned in one of the streets.
