The following London market cable* gram has been received bj the N Z.L. and MA, Company : — Wool — The sales closed this day, and the following alterations in prices since the last sales ha\*e ta be recorded : — Greasy merino super iapav to £d per 1b higher. Greasy merino medium and inferior, fine and medium greasy crossbred are par to id per lb lower Medium washed and scoured crossbred greasy merino lambs super, medium and inferior, and greasy crossbred lambs are $d per lb lower.- Washed merino super, medium and inferior ; scoured merino medium and inferior, and fine greasy and scoured, crossbred, are |d to Id per. lb lower. The total (jnantity sold during the past sales is 200,000 bal.ei of which 92,000 bales have beeri ta^ea fb\\ ± the Continent and l&OOO baled for w America. ' It is estimated that 52,000 biles have been held over Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the fc Ho wing wool cablegram from their London house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co.), under date sth February :— The sales have closed weak ; 52,000 bales have been held over.
