The Half-Holiday.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland February «. With regard to the contemplated proceedings in the Supreme Court to test the validity of the Conference re the Saturday half-holiday. The necessary papers are being forwarded to-day by Messrs Hesketh and Richmond to the Attorney-General for his approval, and on receipt of his authority notice of motion will be set down for hearing at the first available sitting of the Supreme Court. The procedure will be to move for a writ of certiorari directed to the Minister of Labor to remove the Gazette notice into the Supreme Court for the purpose of it being quashed.
