FIJI v. SOUTHLAND. (Per Press Association.) Ixvekcauuill, February 6. Heavy rain fell during the night, and the weather was overcast and cold for the second day of the Fiji v. Southland match. The local men again made a poor stand, being all out for 59, or 120 all told. The visitors thus won by an innings and one run. The fielding of the Fijiaus was again the feature of the play. Sydney, Tli is Dav. In consequence of receut fine performances with the bat Eddy, the Tasmauian cricketer, was selected to practice for the final test match and whether chosen to play or not it is considered certain he will be asked to join the next Australian team that visits England.
