Cheap Money.
(Per Press Association). Auckland, January 31. The Auckland Savings Bank trustees have resolved to reduce the rate of interest to 4 per cent from June next. This step has been decided upon in consequence of the lowering rate of interest upon Government securities, in which a large proportion of the Bank's funds are invested from 4 to 3£ per cent.
