Prompt Arrest of a Burglar.

I Pee Press Association.} Stratford, January 30. A man named Donald Stewart, a groom, was caught red-banded entering the railway goods shed last nigbt. The stutionmaster, Mr Ayre, having found that goods stored in the shed were being tampered with, set a watch last night in company with thfr porter, H. Sole, and about 4. 15 o'clock this morning heard the lock turned, aud a man enter. The intruder went straight to one of the cases amr was about to take out a bottle of beer, when Mr Ayre covered him with a. gun and asked him to throw up his hands. Stewart did as he was told and Constable O'Donovan was sent for and the man placed in custody.
