« Will the authorities alter the grade of Hoi ley's Hill ? It is dangerous. Meeting of ratepayers of Pohangina Riding on 2nd February to discuss loan proposals. Time, noon ; place, Council office. Church service was held in Mrs McDonald's woolshed on 27th inst., not 20th. A suitable building badly needed. Now then, church people, take it in hand and get it up. Poh angina, Pohangina Township, and Upper Pohangina. How misleading ! Can't we get a better name for the township. Novr, Mr Councillor, please see what can be done. An accommodation house in the township. So the story runs. Teacher's residence is being reerected in the township. School will be removed directly the residence is finished. Donations wanted to the building fund of the Public Hall. — Standard.
