The Wairarapa Wreck.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, January 28. A private letter received in Wellington dated 22nd inst., from the scene of the Wairarapa wreck, states that the vessel was then lying bottom up, so that there was no possibility of the diver working further. The cemetry at Maori Bay has been purchased by the church of England and Bishop Cowie is to go down next month to consecrate it and the burial place. The Union Steam Ship Company have meantime erected a picket fence around the graves at Whangapoa and Maori Bay.
