A ballot was oteai&ttded which would be taken. Cur ley, general secretary, said there were bigger tyrants in their own class than amongst the proprietors themselves. With regard to the present situation of the Wallsend miners, if the district gave him full latitude at the present time he should have no hesitation m telling them what to do as a man, but as a district officer he could not advise them to act against their rulers. — — >— <— g~——~^
