Mr George Hutchison, member for Patea, addressed his Hawera constitu- | ents last evening, and received a vote of thanks. Wellington, This Day. A man named Edwards was drowned in the Tirumea river on Friday. He shot a duck, and fell in while trying tp recover it. He could not swim. His body has been -recovered.
