(Per Press Association) Melbourne, January 22. In tbe course of an interview with the Minister of Agrienhure, ft deputation pointed out that recent experiments demonstrated that the finest packing that could be obtained for apples was shredded ti-tree bark. A quantity of this bark was ' imported into the colony recently at a cost of £11 per ton. The Minister pointed out that there' was no' necessity to import bark from Qneensland Ti tree grew abundantly in Victoria, and if some sort of machine which could shred bark was obtaina'd, the settlers would have a most profitable industry.
