The Fiji Hurricane.
(Per Press Association). Auckland, January 21. The details of the hurricane at Fiji arrived by the Tavinui. The Fiji Times of the 16th states that several cutters are total wrecks on the coast of Tavinui. One of the crew of the cutter Shark was drowned. Three people were killed by houses being blown down during the night. The Buli Lakebu, a schooner, foundered between Batika and Lav. Twelve persons were drowned and one saved. At Koro, the Auckland built schooner Ocean was blown away with Captain Lancaster and seven natives on board
