The New Bishop of Waiapu.

(Per Press Association) | Nai'lEß. Jnnuary 20. Archdeacon Leonard Williams was to- ; day consecrated Bishop of Waiapu. There were present the Bishop of x\uckland, Acting- Primate, Bishop Mules of - Nelson, Bishop Julius of Christchurch, and Bishop Wilson of Melanesia, and a large number of local and visiting clergy. The Cathedral was crowded in every part, many extra seats having to be provided. Bishop Mules preached the sermon. In the afternoon the children's service was held, when the Cathedral was again crowded, and Bishop Julius delivered an appropriate address.
