Disastrous Gunpowder Explosion
70 PERSONS KILLED. (PEB PRBSS ASSOCIATIONS January 16. ' ; Some gunpowder cars, on the railway line at Butte, in Montana, exploded with fearful results. The city received three disliuct shoclcs, the sensation being similar to very sharp shocks of earthquake. The death rate in connection with the accjdebt is very larga, 70 persons being killed instantly, and over 100 severely iniu're^. ;
