A. and P. Association.
We are pleased to hear that the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association proposes to extend the sphere of its usefulness by holding a fat stock and produce show. The advantages which have accrued to the district from the existence of the Association have been many, and there is no doubt that the suggested addition to the exhibitions of the Association would have a distinctly beneficial effect, and give additional impetus to tbe stock breeding and dairying industry in this part of the island. We congratulate the Association on its effort to advance the agricultural and pastoral interests, and trust that it may find it practicable to carry the above proposal into effect. — Standard.
