Mr Rand was always supposed to be a bachelor, but it is now alleged that he married 50 years ago. At present the estate is boing administered by the brothers of the deceased Melbourne, January 5. Senor Braggato, Government Viticulturist, will visit New Zealand next month at the invitation of the Government, to lecture on viticulture. The Postal Conference will not meet till the delegates return from the Federal Council about the 26th February.
