The Great Storm at Home.
(Per Press Association.) London, January 2. By the wreck of the barque Osseo, which went ashore at Holyhead in the storm, 26 lives were lost. The coastguard saw the barque going ashore, but she sank before those attempting to effect a rescue could reach her. After a long struggle a life-line was got ashore, but it was then too late to save life.
