Gone Down With All Hands.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, December 30. A cable has beeu received announcing the loss during a hurricane of the barque Southern Chief, of 1219 tons, off the Califomian coast. The vessel was on a voyage from Puget Sound to Adelaide, with a cargo of timber. All hands were lost.
