Advances to Settlers Act.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Dec, 33, Mr T. Kennedy McDonald has been appointed valuer under the Government Advances to Settlers' Act. There are to be two supeiv.sing valuers in the North Island— Mr Duncan in Auckland and Mr McDonald in Wellington. The salary is £500 per annum.
