Kiwitea County Council Works.
Notice is given by the Kiwitea County Council that at a special meeting to be held on Saturday, the 19th day of January, it is proposed to confirm special orders adopted at a meeting of the Council held on Saturday, the 15th December. For payment of interest at 5 per cent, for 26 years on a loan of £1000, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," for the construction of Perry's road extension to Hayne's road, and Hayne's road between Kimboltou and Mackay's roads, a special rate of one-farthing in the £ will be levied on the sections in the Oroua Riding as specified in the advertisement. For a loan of £'300 for the construction of a portion of Haynes' road, in the Makino riding, it is proposed to levy a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in tho £ on various sections within the said riding.
