Libel Action.— £loo Damages.
(PBB PBKB9 ASSOCIATION). A uckland, This Day. In the case of the libel aotion, Josh. A. Jagger, commercial traveller, v. John Trenwith, boot manufacturer, the libel was alleged to be contained in a letter sent by Trenwith to the Hawke's Bay Herald, setting out he had diaoharged his traveller for grave reasons. The defendant pleaded justification, but the jury awarded LIOO damages.
