The regulations relative to the inscription of New Zealand consols and also those under " The Advances to Settlers Act, 1894," are gazetted. An order in Council vests the Fernhill railway in Otago in Sir Robert Stout, The following female official visitors to prisons are gazetted : — Euphemia Xeveson Dunedin; Evelin Willett Cunnington, Lyttelton ; Katherine Hooper Tarn, Wellington ; Annie Maria Dolby and Eliza Collins, Auckland ; Fanny Cooke and Ada E. Trask, Nelson.
