WELLINGTON v. CANTERBURY. (Per Press Association). Christchurch, December 6. The Intercolonial cricket match, Canterbur}' v. Wellington, was commenced to-day at Lancaster Park. The weather was tiue and the ground in good order. Wellington batted first and scored 182 —Fuller 35, Izard 31, Cross 27, A. Blacklock 26, Holdship 23, aud Ashbolt 16, being tho top scorers. Canterbury, at the call of time, had made 84 without the loss of a wicket — Cuff 46 uot out, H. C. Ridley 29 not out.
