«. LADIES TO THE FRONT. A cricket match which should certainly draw a good attendance from its novelty in these parts will be played on the Birmingham cricket ground tomorrow. The ladies of Birmingham have challenged the junior cricketers to a match, the latter to play left handed. The following Aviil represent tho fair sex iv tho contest: — Misses Palmer (captain), Younger, Lowes, Crichton, Laiug, B. Laing, Wishaw, Card, A. Richardson, L. Richardson. Emergency —Miss B. Wishaw. In the evening a concert will be givon, to be followed by a dance.
