Christchurch Licensing Committee.
(PEH PREBS ASSOCIATION) Christchurch, December 3. At the quarterly meeting of the Christchurch Licensing Committee to-day the police report on all the hotels in the district was of a satisfactory nature. Several prohibitionists were present, and desired to make complaints about Sunday trading, and about extra bars in some of the hotels. Mr Beethain, S.M., Chairman, declined to hear the complaints, in the absence of notice to the licensees of the hearing of an information by the Magistrate.
