The full compliment came forward, among them a consignment of well bred 8 and 4 years old bred at Oroua Downs station. These were the feature ol the sale and unmistakably showed a deal of quality, competition for them was moderately active only, the prices obtained ranging from £8 15s to Quotations— Trap horses up to £12 ; hacks, £1 to £9 ; others £5 to L 6 15s ; weedy sorts, unbroken, 30s to 47s 6d ; crocks, 10s to 20s. Messrs Nolan, Tonks and Co. report : At Opunake — Yearlings, L 2; 2-year heifers, L 2 10s to L 2 12s 6d ; 2-year steers, L 3; springing heifers, L 4 5s to L 4 15s ; dairy cows, L 5 to Ls los ; store cows, L 3 to L 3 3s ; fat cows, L 4 6s. At Kakaramea— Mixed yearlings, 88s to L 2 2s 6d ; yearlings to 18 months steers, L 2 5s to L 2 12s ; 2-year steers, L 3 to L 3 Qs 6d ; 2£ to 3-year steers, L 4 ; 3 to B.J year bullocks, L 5; 2 year heifers, L2 los toL2l7s6d; 2|-year heifers, L 3; store cows, L 3 to L 3 3s ; springing cows and heifers, L 4 15s to L 5 15s ; cows and calves, L 8 15s.
