The Dairying Industry.
o (Per Press Association). Wellington, November 22. The Gazette notifies that it having been decided to bring iuto operation from 29th inst. sub-section 1 (a) of section 21 of tbe Dairy Industry Act, the Government have agreed to provide free of cost for freezing and handling in and out of store of all butter for export, aud for this purpose have arranged with the under-noted : —Auckland Freezing Company (Limited), Auckland; Wellington Meat Export Company (Ltd), Wellington ; Lyttelton Harbor Board, Lyttelton ; and Messrs Irvine and Stevenson, Dunedin. The Government undertake no duties in connection with shipping of produce and exporters must make their own arrangements for transit to and from the store. On despatch of auy produce, full particulars (brands, weights, etc) of consignment must be forwarded, addressed to grader at the Government cool store. Among the passengers by the Monowai from Sydney wero Mr J. McE wen, the new dairy expert. Tho followiug have been appointed Inspectors aud Graders uuder tlie Dairy Industry Act: —Augusts Busk, Joseph Pilson Lang, Hugh Robertson McWilliam, and Alfred Arthur Thortou.
