[PBE PBESS ASSOCIATION.! Auckland, November 21. Wifch regard to the reconstructs scheme of the New Zealand and Eiv( Plate Land Mortgage Company, the Ne Zealand attorneys to-day received tl following cable advice from the Londc office of the Company : " With regard the present position, the London Dire tors have arrived at the conclusion tin it would not be expedient to push fo ward the resolution necessary for tl formation of the new Company again the opposition of the shareholder Business will be carried ou by tl Company upon lines laid down in tr scheme of reconstruction. The capiti called up will be used to reduce tl debentures, which will be limited 1 £500,000. Measures are also beiug take to reduce the liability. The great< part of the objects of the scheme < reconstruction having been attained, tl meeting of the 27th at noon will not I raanitttA."
