At the Anglican Synod a resolution was carried praying the General Synod to amend the Canons in 6uch a manner that women as well as men shall be permitted to vote at Parish meetings and to vote for the election of Synodsmen. Christchurch, Nov. 21. Mr W, T. Glasgow, secretary ot the Custom's Department, leaves for Sydney in a day or two. The object of the visit is not disclosed but it is suggested to be in connection with the tariff reciprocity between N S. Wales and New Zealand.
