(PKB PBKBS ASSOCIATION Brisbane. This Day The Committee appointed to inquire into the dispute among the Railway Commissioners recommends tho imniodiatc retirement of Mr A. Johnston, one of the Commissioners, with payment of his salary for the uuexpired portion of his engagement. Perth, This Day. The Council finally decided not to insist on the amendment to the Loan Estimates, and the difficulty has ended. Sydney, This Day. The difficulty between the House and the Council over the Labor Settlements Bill has advanced another step, the House having again passed the measuro through all its stages. A number of the Council has given notico to move its rejection. The Government have decided to coutiuuc the subsidy of four thousand pounds to the 'Frisco servico for one year subject to Parliament approval.
