(Per Press Association) Constantinople, Nov. 19. The Porte apologises for alleging that tho British Cousul at Van incited the Armenians to revolt aud promises to make full inquiries iuto the outrage. Erzkroi:m, November 18. During the atrocities committed in Armenia by the Turks, fearful scenes were witnessed. The Turkish soldiers imprisoned 60 girls in a church, and after outraging their hapless victims, butchered them. Their blood poured out in a stream uuder the doors of the building. Victims in other places wero beheaded. Some of them were burued alive iv their own houses.
