Phillipson 4Humphreys 27 Richardson (not out) 0. McLaren batted for four hours and three quarters and was loudlr applauded on his dismissal. He played a brilliant innings but wai badh missed after scoring 4. Victoria in the first innings have lost seven wickets fer 201; Mitchell 25, Palmer 6, 11. Trott 16, Graham 20. Sover 42 Stricky 0, C McLeod (not out) 19, and R. McLeod (not out) 20.
