PALMERSTON v. COLYTON.
The Cup match between tho Palmerston and" Colyton clubs resulted in au unexpected win for the Colyton men by 18 runs. Owing to tbo wot state of the ground a good display of cricket wa« impossible, and the scoring was consequently very low. Iv the first innings Colyton scored 36, and Palmerston. 87. tu tho second innings Colyton scored 46, but Palmerston, owing to the effective bowling of J. Entwisle, were all disposed of for 27 ruus.
