(Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 16. A proclamation appears in the Gazette briugiug the Destitute Persons Act of last session into operation with regard to Maoris, on tho 15th November. A regulation is also published for the election of Members of Boards by contributing local bodies in grouped districts under the Charitable Aid Act.
