The Late Czar's Funeral.
POLICY OF THE NEW CZAR. (Per Press Association* Moscow, November 12. Tho Caar, assisted by his relatives, carried the body of his father from the train to the funeral car, and afterwards walked with the Princo of Wales in the procession. The Czarina and Prince Alix drove. The body, when lying in state in the cathedral, was surrounded by orders, medals and crowns, valued at over a million pounds. St. Petersburg, November 12. M. de Giers has notified the Powers that the Czar has resolved to adhere to the pacific policy of bis fathers and devote all his strength to the internal welfare of Russia. The Russian press welcomes Lords Rosebery's and Salisbury's friendly language towards Russia. The body of the late Czar will arrive to-day. The preparations for the funeral are unequalled in splendour. Tho corpse will lie in state with the face exposed, and tho populace will be permitted to kiss the hands. Alexander will be buried by the side of his father. November 13. Tho body of the Czar has arrived here, and the lying in state functions are proceeding. Enormous crowds have viewed the body.
