Mr Pirani Congratulated.
(PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION!. Palmf.bston North. November 13. A public meeting was held to-night to congratulate the member for Palmerston on his actions during the session. Despite the stormy weather there was a good attendance, the Mayor presiding. A numbor of complimentary speeches were delivered and Mr Pirani briefly alluded to tho work of the session, in the course of which he denied that any great efforts were made to whip members to support Government measures.
