Laery and<k>. report for the week end* v ing 10th November :— Wheat. -The market continues quiet without any quotable change A few email lots have passed through our hands during the week at last quotations. Good samples of fowl wheat are in demand at late rates. We quote: —^rime milling 2s lOd to 2s lid ; medium to good 2s 9d ; fowl wheat, 2s 7d to 2s 8d Oats. — This cereal is being offered at much lower rates, but samples are not up to the usual standard. There is every prospect of values falling off owing to the fact that farmers are making room for new grain. Bright short feed, Is lOd to Is lid; good, Is 9d; discoloured, Is 7d to Is 8d ; Danish, Is 7d to Is 8d ; Tartanan seed Is lOd to 2i ; sparrowbill (seedj Is lOd to 2s ; Canadian (seed) Is lOd to 2s. Potatoes. — The season being tar advan ced holders chow considerable anxiety to quit present stocks Values remain un changed. Prime 355 ; medium qualities, 3u» per ton, Cocksfoot.— Stock low and umket firm Best machine-dressed, 4?d to 6d ; bright undressed, 4d to4.\d : discoloured B\d to BJd per lb Kyegrass. — Market continues firm at late quotations. Machine dressed, 4s 3d to 4s !<d ; medium to good, 3s 9d to 4s 3d ; farmers' lots 3s 3d to 3s 7J. Tallow.— Good demand. Best rendered mutton, 18s to ZOs; medium to good, IDs to 17s 6d : inferior 12s 6d to 15s. Butter— Choice separator in roll, lOd ; ordinary 9d ; dairy, 8d ; prime salt 8d ; pastry 6d to 6Ad per lb. Flax — Nothing doing. Our quotations are nominal. Eine Wellington, ill 153 ; g f.a.q , X'lo 15s per ton. Sheepskins. -In good demand. We quote country crossbreds, medium to fine quality, 4jd per lb; coarse Ugd to 4d ; halfwoolled, 3d.
