Fitzgerald Bros' Circus and Menagerie.
To-night tbe above combination will give a performance in Feilding. Refer ring to a recent performance an Auckland paper, in tbe cause of a very leugthj notice, says that tbe menagerie attracted a large amount of attention. Inside the entrance are tbe monkey cages, and k other cages are a black panther, a lioness, a silver lion or American Puma, a huge and apparently savage animal ; three magnificent tigers, two males and a female. The den of lions contains a male and two lionesses. The attendance was an immense one, and the performance from first to last was interesting and exciting, fully bearing out the high reputation which this show has achieved in Australia. Highly culspistic reference is made to tbe leaping and somersaulting over horses, 16 of which are covered in a double somersault and a final somersault is made over a horse placed oOft from tbo spring board. A feature of tbe circus is tbe number of trained or trick horses, all exhibiting marks of careful training, docility and intelligence. The performances of the horses Princess, Commodore, Tom, Ben and Curio, and six white horses, are described as simply •wonderful, and far surpassing any exhibition of the kiud before given in tbe colony. .________—
