Cuttle 6old at last aale quotations and we had no improvement to quote in the ratea of sheep. Pigs sold in favour of the vendor. We quote : — Cattle— Beet bullocks, L8 to La 12s 6d ; others, L7to L 7 17s (3d ; equal bo 20s per 1001 b. Sbeep— All that were .yarded were ■ ■horn, Wethers, 9i 6d to 10s 3d : heavy ewes, 9s to lls ; lambs, li. Pigs — Small baconers, 29s to 353 ; porkers, 16s to 24s ; smull pigs, 8s to 10s 3d Messrs Gortou and Son report : —We hold a successful sale at "Waituna yesterday. Our quotations aro: — Cattle — Fat cows, Mo 4s ; 4 anil 5-yeav bullocks, i's ; 2£ to 3-year mixed, £3 6s: yearliuKs aucl 18-uiouths mixed, £2 5s to £'2 10s ; weaners, 225. Sheej> — Woolly store wethers 10s 9d ; woolly hoggets, various prices from 6s lid to 9s 7d ; shoru hoggets, 7s 4d.
