■♦ Laery and Co. (Limited) report for the past week as under : — Wheat.— For milling wheat there is little or no enquiry. In the absence of Bales we repeat our last quotations. We have placed during tho woek several lines of whole fowl wheat at prices about on a par with those last reported. We quo'o prime milling, 2s lOd to 3s ; medium to good, 23 7d ; fowl wheat, 2s 7d to 2* Bd. Oatß.— Market dull with a tendency to lower rates. We quote bright short feed Is lOd : Rood, Is 9d ; discoloured, Is 7d to l 8 8d ; Danish, Is7d ; Tartarian (seed) Is lOd to 2s ; duns, Is lOd to 2s ; sparrowbills, (seed), Is lOd to 2s ; Canadian (seed) gs Carle?.— No demand We quote nominally. Best malting, 4s 3d to 4s 4d ; middling to good, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; milling, 3s ; feed, Is 9d to 2s ; Cape, 2a 9d to 3a Pollard -Owing to the advanced state of the season the volume of business passing is small, and values during the week have suffered a decline. For best quality ure quote 70s per ton. New Potatoes.— Consignments during the week were rather heavier than usual and values suffered a sharp fall For kidneys we quote 13s to 15a 6d : round, 8s 6d to 10s per cwt.
